Reception, bar and restaurant staff all very nice and helpful. The hotel is well presented. The rooms are very well equipped and large. Dinner was delicious and breakfast good too.
The rooms are nice and big, old-fashioned and modern at the same time it’s my favourite hotel in Gatwick. Also, it’s got a gym and a steam room however the steam room could do with upgrading but it’s good enough. The staff are very nice and friendly and helpful, and the breakfast in the morning is an 8/10.
pro's good location to crawley and gatwick 5/10mins. friendly staff. lovely rooms with fridge and microwave, sofa,table and 2 chairs. ROOM SERVICE CON'S Bar shuts at 11pm on a Saturday night toilet in bathroom is really low to the floor this is a really lovely hotel, very clean and breakfast was lovely, enjoyed my stay
Updated Review:- From the very beginning, the experience has been excellent. A very special appreciation goes to Anastasija at the reception. She is incredibly kind, caring, and supportive. She went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed during my stay and even took extra steps to help me whenever I was in need. Her genuine hospitality made my stay truly enjoyable and comfortable. Also Antonio at the reception, who has always been welcoming, professional, and helpful whenever needed. I would also like to sincerely thank the lovely ladies in the Restaurant section- Elsa, Marissa, and Bea. They were always so friendly, greeted me with warm smiles every morning, and truly made breakfast a pleasant and welcoming start to the day. Thank you to the entire team for making my stay memorable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to London for a short or long stay, and I leave with nothing but great memories.
Checked out this morning and Eva was really good and looked after me. Rooms are pretty good, service is very good and location is just by the motorway and a Tesco extra. Pool punches above its weight in terms of being clean and warm and steam room is powerful (you need to press the button to turn it on). Shame there’s no sauna
Very nice old school school hotel with big rooms. Sofa, fridge and microwave in rooms. Plenty of clothes storage. Very Very good breakfast and same standard every day. Recommend it
Can’t complain, every time we check-in a hotel what we look for is a gym, pool, room with a microwave and free breakfast. We got what we needed from this hotel. Staff are accommodating especially at the restaurant.
Stayed here for 3 nights for a business course. The staff are amazing and could not do enough, from reception to the dining room to the little bar. Great service. The room was lovely, and the bed very comfortable. My tv went on the blink, was rectified in minutes. The only thing I would add is that it would be great to have another hot water outlet to get coffee in the dining room, there was always a little queue. Easily solved possibly? Absolutely would recommend. Massive thank you to the team at the sandman!
